How to choose the right one: -

Most cats love to stretch full length to scratch, so normally a taller post is in order. However the older arthritic cats are happier with shorter posts.

Each of our platforms can be upgraded to a 'Chunky Boy' simply by selecting the correct buy now button below. A Chunky Boy has a thicker post, 3" X 3" instead of 2" X 2" and comes with a thicker 'Heavy Duty Rope'. Chunky Boys are expected to last up to 50% longer.

We also offer 4 different sizes of platform for each post, however this is not yet built into the site, if you wish to vary the platform size please use the 'Contact Us' link to discuss. Basically the larger the platform the heavier we build the base (its a stability issue). The four sizes available are:

'SP' - This is our standard platform which is 27cm square, good for small to average cats.
'LP' - A larger 31cm square platform.
'XLP' - Extra large 36cm square platform for bigger felines. And finally our 'XXLP' at 41cm square for Rag dolls and Maine Coons.

Here is an example of a 85cm tall platform, with a larger 40cm square mounted on top. The post is bedded into a super sized base and comes as a chunky boy for extra stability.....
